The 2026 Parent Committee is hard at work planning Safe Grad and Grand March. To ensure a successful and safe celebration for our kids, we need your attention on three specific areas: Dates, Fundraising, and Volunteering.

🗓️ Key Dates (parent run, separate from the School Grad ceremony and/or the dinner and dance put on by the Eagles society connected to the school)

  • Grand March: June 6, 3:00 pm

  • Safe Grad: June 13, 9:00 pm grad drop off

💰 Active Fundraisers

We are currently running four initiatives. Please click the link below to view details or download the necessary forms.

  1. Fill Your Freezer: We’ve partnered with Team Fund to offer high-quality frozen food (including Alberta favorites like Spolumbo’s and Coco Brooks). A percentage of every sale goes directly to our Parent Run Grad 2026 fundraising fund.

  2. Shaken & Stirred: ***EXPLANATION BELOW***

  3. Bottle Drop-off: Drop off your empties to any of the bottle depots around GP. Ask to tag your bag with the code: BL107

  4. Sponsorships: We are seeking cash donations, "gifts in kind," or gift cards. Donation letter for Grand March HERE. Donation letter for Safe Grad HERE.

Safe Grad cannot happen without parent involvement. We are advocating for every family to take one small piece of the puzzle.

🍸 Shaken & Stirred: Help Us Sell Entries!

We have two premium prize packages ready to be won…one "Top Shelf Spirits" kit and one "Zero-Proof & Coolers" kit. Now, we need every parent to help us "sell" entries to get these funded for Safe Grad.

  • The Prize: Two winners will be drawn (one for each package).

  • The Cost: $20 per entry.

  • The Goal: 100% of the money raised goes straight to the Safe Grad 2026 budget.

  • What we need from you: Reach out to your friends, neighbors, and coworkers. This is a parent-to-parent "giveaway," so we are keeping it informal and word-of-mouth.

How to "Sell":

  1. Collect $20 from anyone who wants in.

  2. Record their name/phone number on the entry sheet (attached below), or simply in your phone. Please send your entries to Kellie: 780-814-9663

  3. Submit the funds via e-transfer to: northerngrandmarch26@gmail.com

*****when sending your entry money, please specify what fundraiser it is for: “Shaken & Stirred”

💡 A Quick "Script" for Parents

If you aren’t sure how to bring it up, try phrasing your invite similar to this:

"My kid is graduating in June and we’re doing a private giveaway to raise money for a Safe Grad. It’s $20 an entry to win one of two premium bar kits (one spirits, one zero-proof/coolers). Want in?"
